'spring flowers' 6"x8" oil on Raymar canvas panel
This painting was created because of the Daily Paintworks Challenge. The challenge was to paint a white object on top of patterned fabric with light directed to one side and show the reflection of the fabric in the white object. No problem. But the real challenge was to only use primary and secondary colors and white, no brown, black or neutral colors. I thought it was very fun because it took me back to the basics of using only those 6 colors + white. The fabric came from a beautiful apron my sister in law made me (had to change some colors though because of the challenge rules).
