As part of 'my famous paintings' series, which I started off with my version of Vermeer's 'Girl with a Pearl Earring', I thought it would be fun to paint something from Michelangelo. And what better place to start than at the begining... 'The Creation of Adam'. I am taking portions of the original fresco and cropping them down and zooming in on the image I think is the most interesting. I've painted these 2 small paintings so far for 'The Creation'...hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed painting them.
